AN IMPRESSIVE GEORGE IV SILVER SWING-HANDLED KETTLE

With a band of acorns, oak and clover leaves and roses over a stippled ground above an overhanging acanthus border with shells, the ornate upright handle with flower heads, lily pads and leafy bullrushes, leafy junctions either side of the turned ivory grip, similarly decorated spout, the cover with a weeping putto finial, the bellied sides chased in high relief with two English civil war battle scenes, one side depicting a scene after Abraham Cooper of Cromwell leading a charge after being wounded in his right arm at the Battle of Marston Moor
